Wearing eye glasses is one thing I am trying to so hard of avoiding before. I find it uncomfortable and a minus factor of one's natural beauty. As early as now, I know lot of mommies, daddies and grandparents out there are already cracking their heads thinking of what presents to buy for their children and grandchildren this Christmas. Let's face the fact that as time changes, every year's holiday celebration is also getting more and more expensive. Before a bag of candy or a piece of elastic toy could already put a precious smile to a child's face. Today, the new generation of game technology became popular and what most children loves to play than the traditional ones. I am being bratty again today... and because I don't feel like talking to anyone (for some reasons), I chose to be just with myself and all alone at the la-la-la land for hours. When I woke up around 2pm, I realized I took nothing for my belly yet but never mind. I may grab something to eat later.

I have read an interesting story that talks about "attitude" in general. This morning, as I rose from bed, I remembered one line from the story that says: "Each morning when you wake up, you have two choices... whether you wake up in the good mood or you wake up in the bad mood".

Thinking of so many things that I need to get done today , I decided to wake up in a good mood. At this time (3:26 pm) I already have at least 70% of my pending online activities done. Before I finally jump to my last agenda for today which is blog hopping, let me plug some interesting activities here first.

I'm sure many of you have known Lainy better known as Scotty's Princess. One of the so many blogs I love to visit. Hello here...

Thanks to those who dropped by at naki-share on my yesterday's treat. Salamat naman at kahit papano nabusog ko kayo kakatingin...hahaha.

At may naging interesado pa on how to make kwek-kwek, lol! Actually I already have coached her earlier but to those who are still interested to learn, eto yun:

"Simply coat the hard boiled eggs with flour. Mix the flour with enough amount of water to make it a little sticky and the food color which is yellow. Food color is optional though since there are those who really don't want to use artificial colors. But like I said to Faye, mas mukha talaga siyang kwek-kwek if its yellow. After which, deep fry the coated eggs for about a minute or two...and that's it!

Finally to make it complete, you can prepare a sawsawan (sauce) of your choice. For me, it's best served with the mix of diced cucumber, seaweeds, onions, vinegar, a little amount of chili powder and salt to taste. For the kids naman, I recommend sweet and sour sauces na may konti din naman anghang... depende na lang sa kakain." (see kwek-kwek image on my post below)

Tayo naman kasi mga Pinoy, pagdating sa mga in between meals o meryenda, walang sinabi ang economic crisis ng bansa ... oopps..walang kokontra! hehe... Kaya to best compensate our pockets, let's go for food preparation that's economical yet healthy.....Ayt!

Best thing about being a Filipino (pagdating sa kainan!):

Merienda. Where else is it normal to eat 5 times a day? (Ay eto..hindi lang pinoy na pinoy kundi akong- ako ito!) hmm.. I love having merienda and these are among my favorites:

Pansit palabok

this is simply irresistible! (for me...)

a flour coated hard boiled egg and of course it comes with...

Sawsawan. Assorted sauces that guarantee freedom of choice, enough room for experimentation and maximum tolerance for diverse tastes. Famous pinoy sawsawan are toyo't calamansi (soy sauce & lime) , suka at sili (vinegar with chili) and patis.

Fiesta. Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow is just another day, shrugs the poor man who, once a year, honors a patron saint with this sumptuous, no-holds-barred spread. It's a Pinoy celebration at its pious and riotous best.

Kamayan style. To eat with one's hand and eschew spoon, fork and table manners--ah, heaven!

Street food: Barbecue, lugaw, banana-cue, fishballs, IUD (chicken entrails), adidas (chicken feet), warm taho. Forget hepatitis; here's cheap, tasty food with gritty ambience.

Whew! Felt so relieved now that I'm finally done posting all the tasks assigned to me by SS and SR. I've been writing reviews from here and there since last night and my brainy has been filtered real good...

now that is what we call "blogging like hell," LOL!

I know, I shouldn't be complaining...oh do I? No, I'm not.

Lately, I've read about some bloggers venting their frustrations through their posts about not having blogging opportunities coming their way. Hmm... I've been through that stage too. I did complain, yes... but I keep it to myself. True. Things finds its way to happen at its own pace like what it did to me now. So instead of grumping, why not just work and wait.

Aww... did I really said that??? Hmm... I'm not a patient type of person, either but...
I believe!
So I guess that's the right word there.

Last week when Google updated the page rankings, I got this page as one of the unfortunates to have lose it's share.

...or could it just be a mere inaccuracy? hmm...would you know? No...I can't really tell..

Anyway, before you can take it too far, I am simply wondering here... how Google manage to gave my page rank back that quick. It's been only 5 days since they last updated.

Now, I am not being phony here. Of course Google made me feel delighted today... seeing that green little button alive again for the third time, lol! Curious lang talaga ako...

But, thanks to Google, anyway. I can count this as my blessing of the day!

My love to sports specially basketball grew when me and my younger brother has to compete who will hold the remote to control our TV. We only have one television set at home back then. He loves to watch sports channel while I was always hoping to watch the morning news. So as an older sister, I have to give way to avoid early morning argument since I noticed how he so much love to keep track to his favorite NBA team, the Chicago Bulls where of course the popular and the ever amazing Michael Jordan was playing with. Oh well, this has been the usual scenario in our house almost every morning before and since there's was nothing left for me to do, I pretty much find myself sitting and watching along with my brother while trying to enjoy the game he's watching as well... and eventually, I did.

There'd been too many highlights to enumerate and too many brilliant plays to count but to bring back some of the fun and memories, here's few of Air Jordan's top amazing moves as he reigns the ring being the world's most dominant basketball player of the 90s'. Hope you enjoy this one.

Happy October Ist!

And to us Pinoy's, October means, OKTOBERFEST NA!

We know Oktoberfest is well-recognized worldwide as a month-long beer festival. San Miguel Oktoberfest, recognized by the Department of Tourism (DoT) here in the Philippines as an official fiesta celebration. This time the the country's first and most loved beer brand San Miguel Pale Pilsen will try to get Filipinos on the record books by holding the biggest Oktoberfest celebration ever and getting beer lovers to raise their glasses and toast at the same time. (The current record is 13,500 people, set by the United States in Las Vegas, Nevada. )

Of course this event wouldn't be perfect without the presence of the country's hottest bands including some popular foreign band to provide entertainment to the toasting crowd.

Oktober Fiesta celebration will also be simultaneously welcomed by the major cities in the country like Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu; Iloilo, Davao, Olongapo and Sta. Rosa City.

Was reading some blog entries this morning and came across with two write ups regarding PR. One was cheerfully having it while the other was losing it.

Actually, I don't know now how else to feel about gaining and losing a page rank! Somewhere from last month I gained a page rank of 2 back from Google which I momentarily enjoyed for only a couple of weeks. This morning as I turned my page on, I noticed that it's gone again... for the second time. Although, it really didn't surprised me at all. When I had my URL changed, a friend warned me about how a new redirected domain works...

"Start from scratch!"... just like literally starting a new blog. As I have understood relevant traffic, page rank and other SE (Search Engine) blog qualifications will be counted back to zero. Hmm... if that's the case, I think I could somehow consider Google taking back my PR for that matter.

Anyways, congratulations to those who had just got their page(s) ranked however, to those who had so cheerlessly lose it... well there will always be a next time! :-)
