Add Joy to the Holidays with Holiday Greetings

Greetings are the best means to express your feelings. Where greeting cards express your feeling with the help of images and quotations and custom text, these also are an excellent means to be present with someone even if you are away from him or her. It is also the best means to convey your emotions and make aware the other persons how you feel about him or her. Holiday greetings are also in vogue these days following Christmas holidays.

Greetings have though evolved over a period of time and now people have started preferring online greetings rather than paper greeting. Where paper greetings were popular in the past years, there is a sudden shower of online greetings options these days. The greatest advantage about online greetings is that it can be customized at will of the presenter. A person can customize the greetings with respect to the overall theme, size, cover image as well as the text inside the greeting. Besides, the online greetings also gives you the advantage to send it on a designated date or time, so it is like you can customize a greeting and the online greetings provider will make sure that it is delivered to your friend or the loved one on the required date eve if your forget to send it.

Apart from this the online holiday greetings gives you the advantage that you can order a greeting by choosing from a range of greetings available online and the greeting will be delivered giving a surprise to the recipient. So order one today.

making a wish on santa's lap

Thanksgiving week has been celebrated and now it only means that Christmas is really getting more and more closer now. Have you ever experienced what it feels like sitting on Santa's lap while making a wish? Well, I did. Yes, you read it right and it was indeed so full of fun. Of course my wish is something beneficial not only for myself but also for other people. Plus I was able to upload my photo using the new CEIVA digital photo frame for free with the help of the so generous dear Santa and his buddy Ali. It was really amazing. I feel like I'm young again. I know you maybe curious how do they make it possible, huh. Well, you can see it for yourself here.

Going back to the photo frame, you may also wonder what makes CEIVA different from other digital photo frames. Using this gadget, your friends and family can share photos with you instantly from anywhere in the world using either your cellphones or computer. With Picture Plan, even the most technically challenged person can receive cherished photos sent directly to the frame without having to do a thing. Not only that, you can also get a chance to win from Got a Wish Sweepstakes. Check on the details here.

I don't even mean of making a holiday wish for this year due to finances nowadays is really tough but the big red guy proved it again indeed that Christmas is not just about money and spending. It's about sharing the most precious gift one can ever give and receive, and that's LOVE.

THE LADDER:
Is it going up or down?

This is a fun optical illusion picture to look at because it constantly plays with your mind. If you notice, you'll see that the person on the left is trying to fix the wall which has crumbled with time. They also seem to be painting the columns on the right.

Apart from being able to exhibit your opinions, blog served as a mighty medium to disperse your contents, craft, specialties and even photographs. With the augmenting trend of information needs as well as the growth in the number of Internet users world wide, information has in fact become a form of commodity. As information is becoming more of necessary, it is worth money in terms of affiliation marketing. And as more and more people started to realize that earning through blog marketing is possible, more opportunities were created and this industry has been outspreading tremendously.

Recently I have discovered another income-generating site called Snapbomb and like any other affiliate marketing organizations, Snapbomb advertisers will pay you for your effort by making a buzz or simply by giving your opinion for a certain products and services. All qualified bloggers are welcome at Snapbomb and creating an account is just as easy as ABC. Here's how.

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire, If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

during those times you grow.
B
e thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
B

GRATITUDE can turn a negative into positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings.

Just right on time when I get to read this tag from Ria... not because I need a filler post but because I really need something to uplift me spiritually. Thank you so much girl. I hope the message of this post will serve its value to these people too: Lisa, Bryan, Kate, Nisha, Mica and Michelle.

It's nice to know that you're secured with that someone. That even if the rain is pouring hard and the sky is almost dark, he'll never leave you just so you won't feel alone. Even if his friends had left him (and even if he has to be somewhere else) he'd still stay by your side, just so you won't feel alone.

It's so good to know that you have someone who'll be willing to help you cope up in every frustrations you're having. Every depressing moments, every down moments, every self-worthless-realization moments, he'd be there, not because you want someone to be with you, but because he wants to be with you.

It's great to know when a person appreciates every little thing you do. Even a smile would mean a lot to him, just because you own that smile. And that even if no words are expressed as long as the eyes understand, you'd be able to communicate, just like that.

It's overwhelming when a person tells you that he loves you for who you are. He may not have an answer when you ask him why, but really, he doesn't have to have reasons for loving you.

It's more grateful to know that someone is grateful to have you. We don't choose the people who enter our lives, so it must be luck that you have that person, then you have to be thankful. It may just be coincidence or fate, but whatever the reason is, you have to be thankful in having him the same way he is thankful for having you.

It's a wonderful feeling when you're on the verge of giving up the things you've worked hard for, someone isn't just helping you carry the weight on your shoulders, but he carries it on his own because he'd also be in pain when you are in pain. And then you'll realize, trials would all be worth it as long as you have him, not because he would do things for you, but because you gather all the strength you need, in him and his love.

It's a superb feeling when one is willing to take the risks just so you'll be happy. Unselfishness rule in him just so happiness would take over you.

It's a nice feeling that when you're apart, and days seem to be long, that person misses you. Yes, you might feel bad about not being with each other, but knowing that you feel the same way would drive those blues away, thinking, you'd fight over that feeling because you're looking forward to seeing each other, and that's something to be happy about.

It's a great feeling when he wants to be with you because of the happiness you have when you're together. That even if corny jokes and senseless stories are told, it won't matter as long as you're together.

It's a lovely feeling when someone thinks about your future, with or without him. He cares and he cares enough to think of you and what you'll be someday. But of course, he also wants to be in it someday.

It's a nice feeling when you can be who you really are with that person. No pretensions, no lies, no hypocrisy, because he accepts you for who you are. You can be funny, you can be embarrassed, but it won't matter cause it doesn't matter to him. Trust and faith in each other keeps you alive. And it will always do.

It's good to know that you have someone who'll not have the intentions of breaking your heart. Instead, he would be willing to mend it, picking up the broken pieces of your heart that your past love have scattered in the ground. He may not be able to put the pieces back to where they really belong, but you shouldn't mind, because he had repaired that heart of yours, and he fixed it in his own way. He loves you in his own way, not the way your past did. He fixed your heart in a different way, to keep you from feeling the pains of your past heartache and to make you feel, the love, that he's unselfishly giving.

It's a great feeling when that person has every effort to let you feel what he feels for you. Because of the distractions, you may not hear him shout it to the world, but as long as you feel it, his efforts has paid off, big time. And when you feel the same way too... He'd feel as if he's the luckiest person alive.

... when in fact, you're more blessed to have him.

Afterhours Inspirational Stories... is where I got this inspirational piece from. It wasn't on my agenda to have this story posted here but as I read between the lines, there is this sudden pinch inside me that says "hey, this is me." The choice of words, the way each line is described... just every details on it.

My profile photo... my long hair... my name NANCY... Don't these clue tells enough???

tsk...tsk...tskk... shame, shame!

The reason why we place a profile picture in our pages is for our readers and new visitors to know how to address us whenever they want to leave us a message or a comment perhaps on our posts. I know my other blog Peaceful Mind wears a hardy color theme (a combination of black, blue and yellow) but my goodness! don't my name on my profile plus the header describes enough that I'm a [fee-meyl]?

This isn't the first time that someone who hopped on my page(s) calls me BRO...

Excuse me?!!!!

I mean, don't you think it's annoying? Did this person even looked around my page or does he/she just went there to look for my cbox , wrote and left? For what...? for the mere sake of blog hopping? Well, I'm not complaining! I don't think I am... not at all. And I don't think either it's my business on however the other wants to gain traffic on their blogs.

I am simply expressing my reaction on the matter. We are publishing online... and it means worldwide.

Great news to all shoppers who wants to avoid the holiday shopping rush this season. Kmart stores has a smart offer for everyone who wants to keep their wish and gift list for Christmas. Kmart layaway is making it possible for you to finally give those special something you've been meaning to give your loved ones on that very special occasion.

There are only 4 easy steps to avail this program. Like the typical layaway store, you can pick item(s) that you want to put on layaway. A deposit to reserve the product will be made and items will then be held until such time that will be able to complete the payment at a given period. At Kmart, you can conveniently and easily make your payment every two weeks and as soon as the process is done, the items you shopped is now all yours to enjoy.

Oopps... but there's one thing you have to bear in mind. Stocks will be returned and subject to all applicable fees after this date. So hurry now... don't miss this chance to bring smile to your dear one's faces this Christmas. I know how it works and I know how it feels because I once owned a piece of jewelry I bought from a layaway plan before. It pays off to spend your money wisely. the string of life

Labels:

The longer I live, the more I realized the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, gifted ability, or skill. It will make or break company, church, a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace during that day. We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string that we have and this string is attitude... I am convinced that life is ten percent what happens to me and ninety percent how I react to it. And so it is with you... WE ARE IN CHARGE OF OUR ATTITUDES.

~Charles Swindoll~

Such a very inspiring quote for a touchy and sooo impatient person like me...

I have watched several television shows featuring special segments like granting children, family or someone's Christmas wishes for each year's holiday. Programs like this really touches my heart especially seeing a teary eyed recipients, expressing how grateful they are even for a very simple wish granted to them.

Well, considering today's economy where almost every commodity's price are racing up sky high, money issues is really tight. Like me, I know it also makes you sad sometimes to just think of setting aside your Christmas wish list either for your own self or for someone special this year. But hold on... don't drop your hopes just yet. Sears has a solution to that. Layaway plan is back at Sears to grant those holiday wishes of ours. Hmm... let me check what's in store for me at Sears...

This Disney Princess sweater, duster and pants set is only $26.40 at Sears. I'm thinking of it as a nice addition to my girls' Cinderella collection. I'm sure this set comes in different colors.

I wish to have this oven too since I love to experiment especially on pastries and cakes but like I said, money is really tight for me this time so I am thinking of recommending this instead to my sister. They just moved in to their newly built house so this might be a good idea for their new kitchen too.

I find this 10pc homeowner tool set not just appealing but is also essential for our everyday lives. We never know what will happen to our devices and fixtures from every now and then especially if we have children at home who always have a curious mind over everything. It's worth having at a very reasonable price of $14.99.

All these easy way to pay gift items and more are available at Sears Layaway. All you need to do is visit the site, shop, put your items on hold for a few days by making a down payment, pay a little each week and once your payment is completed at a given period, voila! You're done. This time the items you paid for is ready for take home... Just that simple! You can then see after what you saved for yourself. Time, energy and a perhaps a little penny...

Have fun shopping!

While on my way up to the children's department inside Metro Gaisano (one of the oldest malls in the city of Cebu) yesterday, I passed through and caught one customer asking the sale staff from one silver jewelry chain store why silver jewelry reacts on her skin. That question dragged my attention and made me stop for a while. I stood by the person, make as if I'm looking at the display while discreetly listening to what the sale staff had explained to her and then I left.

I have personally experienced the same trouble too in wearing silver jewelries but I wasn't really convinced by what she said. I believe skin reactions has something to do with the authenticity of the product. And speaking of genuine silver, I have found a store that offers wide range of authentic sterling silver jewellery products. It's a UK based company that accommodates international shipping and had been trading online since 2006. They specializes only silver products like sterling silver bracelets, necklaces, pendants and silver bangles. So to avoid wasting your money, make sure to buy only genuine products from credible stores if you wanna get rid of those disturbing skin reactions and itches like me.

Looking at the site, I personally picked this bracelet as my favorite. I'm not really into so much fashion but I think it won't hurt if you treat your self and feel special once in a while!

"We really don't demand too much requirements from you because your company is top listed in our system."

I will never forget this line from a certain credit card agent I have talked to some two years ago while I am still working at TDCI. As an administration staff, one of my duties was to handle administrative-related incoming calls including inquiries and credit card proposals from different credit card companies which I receive pretty much everyday.

I admit, these people are annoying sometimes. They won't let you be until they will have you say "yes" to them and if I am only a grabby type of person, I could have fallen into a pitfall of bad debt by now. I am just grateful I have known enough information on the pros and cons of having a credit card. Although I own one, I never let my credit card finance my lifestyle if it isn't a necessity at all. I know by doing so, it would hinder my goal of having a debt free living. Like I always believe, freedom from debt is not easy to achieve. But if you really want a debt free life, you must have the attitude. It takes hard work and perseverance to get anything really worth having. Every little bit of effort helps. After all, what is better than having life free from the anxieties and apprehension that debt brings?

paper envelope

"Traditionally, many people managed their money by dividing their cash into several paper envelopes. An envelope for food, clothings, utilities, etc. They then spent their money from these envelopes. They always knew how much money they have left and how long it had to last."

I have noted this article which I have read somewhere from the net some time this week. The funny thing is, I didn't even know that this is indeed a traditional way of budgeting for some people cause get what... I once tried doing it too before. Being a new mother, a budget manager of the family, and as much as I want to eliminate debt, I always see to it that everything will fall into place, financial wise. So I have an envelope for food, my daughters' savings, and for various utility bills...

Eliminating debts
is such a hard decision to do. It requires lots of sacrifice. Now, even though I have to temporarily terminate that practice, saving for my daughters and hopefully living a peaceful, debt-free life in the future remains my innermost goal.

What exactly is a credit report? What's a credit score and why people should care about it?

These subjects are usually associated with trust programs such as loans. A credit history information confer a lot when it comes to securing a personal loan or any types of loan for that matter. That credit information from the credit grantors is monitored ,compiled and stored in their massive computers by the credit bureaus which will then become a credit report once sold to prospective lenders seeking to learn about one's credit history.

Details found on your credit report is used to sum up your credit score. Your score provides lenders with a speedy way of judging your creditworthiness. To calculate your score, there are numbers of credit-related factors are considered. Payment history, amount of outstanding debt and length of your payments history to mention a few and formula used weights each factor according to its respective importance.

It nice to be back here after a few days of being l**y... shame, shame, shame, lol! I just don't understand why am being such a sleepy head lately. My bed is getting more and more tempting everyday that even the "siesta" which I actually don't do before, hala! nagagawa ko na. Gone are the almost round the clock blogging. Before I can stay up as late as 3am... what is happening to me? Am i getting bored? or am I getting tired of what I do everyday? NO, it can't be... I know this is what I love to do... I knew it because, I still get brainsick every time my ISP interrupts my connection like they did yesterday. Now that it's back I need to do lots of making up. And I really do mean of doing if not all, at least some or most of my tasks that needs to get done today.

Sigh! still wishing for that 48 hours in a day, lol!

Anyways, before moving further, I would like first to make way for these two awards from two of my nicest friends here in the blogosphere.

Starting of with Lainy of Lainy's Musings for counting this blog as one of her favorites. Thank you so much.

And to Lynn of Lynn's Chic Spot for this sisterhood award below.

Hmm... two smart bloggers... comes from the same place... speaks the same lingo and shared me the same pink awards, lol! Thank you so much sisters for this very encouraging gestures of oneness and friendship.

This time, I'm passing both awards to Liza, Marie, Rocks, Ria, Hailey, Sheryl and Thea. I hope you guys have fun and enjoy the rest of your Friday!

great holiday spending tips

Christmas season is here! While it means exultation, festivity and merrymaking to everyone, to some extent it can be mean an obligation too. Saving money for holidays is a tough challenge for anyone. No matter how tight the budget is, people will still find their way out to the malls and even to some signature stores to look for something special they could present as gift to their loved ones.

Before you even race out to the stores, you may want to consider this few reasonable spending tips in going out for holiday shopping:

Know your limitations...

First create a budget. This will help you keep track of your spendings.

Make a list. Think of what to buy for each person on your gift list before you shop.

Say NO to credit cards. Credit card bills are easy to use but hard to pay off. Think of Debt elimination as a rewarding thing at the end of this event.

Be Creative...

Cookies, candy, cakes... who doesn't love homemade treats? If baking from scratch isn't your cup of tea, you can buy refrigerated rolls of cookie dough and dressed them up however you want it. However, half the fun of giving gift is the wrapping. instead of spending for a bundle of expensive gift wrap and bows, why not just use what you have. Magazines, construction papers, stamps and markers are of best help.

Lastly, know where to shop...

Say hello to discount stores. They carry out big sales and great buys for the last season. While online shopping too can often save time and money.

The holidays are a time of celebration and rejoicing, not the time of counting how much money you spend. Remember to stay focused on what is important and that there is always a way to save money.

Have fun and have a happy and safe shopping!

effective debt consolidation service

I have read an interesting article where a noted financial author says that debt is not the problem... It is a symptom. A symptom of overspending and under saving... it's a clear-cut and I think I agree to that. Although there are plenty of reasons when it comes to people getting in debt, the "spend more than you make" part makes it pretty obvious. Just why we people are too eager to spend more than what we make?

Who don't?

A female who's in love with fashion can't stop buying new trendy clothes. Hippy people can't help staring at the new, sophisticated phone models on the rock. Get to buy this and that... swipe here and there...and not to mention the unforeseen expenses. Every person's "debt issue" is different.

While people are up to their eyeballs in debt, Debt management companies also becomes one of the fastest growing industries and are springing up everywhere. These companies helps you manage your debt through debt consolidation that helps you lower your monthly bills, avoid creditor's harassment calls & one easy payment for your bills. But beware of fraud... they are also everywhere. Find the best company that you know would consolidate your bill successfully and start getting your way out of debt now.

The use of mobile phone for communication is getting more and more extensive as the technology advances. While it is just merely known as a portable communication device with the same capability with that of a conventional fixed-line telephone before, nowadays, it is rapidly becoming an indispensable medium and already started functioning as more than just a communication device.

Without the phone, many of us would be quite lost in connecting with other people. The address book and contacts list on phones is our social interface. In strange places, they tell us where we are. And even in business industry, connecting to customers at anytime, anywhere is no longer an illusion.

Mobile marketing has become the most personal and effective approach of direct marketing. By installing it in your overall marketing strategy, you are making steps ahead while existing customers will mount to the next levels. This SMS marketing solution is applicable for both large and small companies.Through your own shortcodes, you can now effectively market your own products and promotions in a personalized, fast, flexible and competent manner.

Direct and one-on-one communication that stimulates a customer feedback, mobile text messages grab immediate attention and are more likely to be read than email sent to a PC, which can also be a victim of spam filter.

content is king

The never ending PR (Page Rank) issue among bloggers are everywhere. I remember a few months ago, I asked in one of the forum sites I joined... how a exactly a PR is gained? When I last checked the site, I got over 50 different responses from different people whom I actually don't know but are generous enough to share their intelligent opinions. But among those responses, the phrase"content is king" was what strikes me the most. Yesterday as I was visiting websites, I came across with it again. This made me ponder for a little while.

I have been blogging for over a year now... but I wonder if the entries I have posted in my blogs are of quality at all. Granting that PR is basically acquired through quality content then I must say I maybe at least have "some" of it cause as in early as three months this page has already been ranked 3 by Google. But like any other other pages that figure has its "high and off season" too... haha. I guess you know what I mean by that... But now that Google is repossessing my PR, does it literally implies low quality content too? What therefore comprises a quality content, if I may ask?

All I know is I have proved freedom of speech through blogging and I write as I feel and think as long as it is nothing offensive to the public or to anyone for that matter. I also would like to quote this concept from one writer/blogger that says:

"Good content will show the writers own personality and flavor in it. It will be interesting and very informative, if it's not what's the point of putting it online in the first place, nobody will benefit from it and it won't help you get more repeat visitors."

True enough! Pretty simple opinion but is rich and is worth contemplating!

Last week my nieces have a had a Halloween break from school. But instead of enjoying and making the most out of the week long holiday both of them ended up getting sick. Bernadette got a high fever out of the blue then some burn-like spots developed all over her mouth from her lips, tongue and gums. MJ on the other hand has the fever too while the poor little baby has the cough & flu. She probably got it from her Mom who'd been suffering from hard cough. But among them Bernadette got the most worrying condition so before anything worst will happen we decided to run her to the nearest hospital. Nearest is up to the next town like 15-20 minutes ride. "Badian" was the name of the place and as people say it's a nice town with some beautiful spots. Next thing that came through my mind was my camera.

I didn't know that the place where the District Hospital is situated itself was the nice place they've been talking about. So after Bernadette was checked, we spent a few minutes walk around... While looking, I took out my camera and begin snapping...it was a nice place indeed!

Here are some of the pictures:

was trying to look up from the web what the name of the Church was but their official website seems down... so if you happen to know, I would appreciate it.

That's about it for the place but the picture taking didn't stop there... cause later during that day, as soon as we got home, the saga continues...lol! The setting is in my bedroom this time :-)

finally there's Me & MJ

For a couple of days was quite a difficult condition for Bernadette because she can hardly eat but thanks to God that her system is responding well to her medications. So as MJ. Actually both of them are officially back to school now.

made to measure suits that's worth splurging

There's always a quick answer from me whenever someone asks me what do I want for a baby... "a girl". I say this based on my personal experience. I have two daughters and I never have had any problem picking up their styles when it comes to dresses and casual wears.

I don't have a son but I can still say choosing a suit for men is always a pain on the neck. I'm sure many women will agree on this. On some important occasions, I used to buy my dad's and brother's clothes and trust me, it'll take most of my shopping hours to find just a single pair of pants for each of them. It is also believed that made to order suits costs much so we more likely ended up buying most of their clothes from off the rock. But sometimes ready to wear suits just can't give you enough satisfaction of comfort. It's either, too loose or too tight and most often than not, the choice of fabric is of low quality.

Recently, I've discovered MySuitNY.com from the net. So what does this website do to have made me wish they were here during those times I need them the most?... Well, they simply do custom suit that costs no more than any one of the "off the rack" suits you currently have in your closet. They design made to measure suits according to your own taste, style and shape which will make you feel relaxed and comfortable when wearing it. And most importantly, it is worth the splurge. There's only three easy steps to do. Measuring, styling and fabric selection. You will be guided through each step of the process by a consultant and in just a matter of few questions and suggestions, you will get to have an absolutely comfortable and satisfying MySuit experience.

Too sad... my dad's no longer here... but I can still recommend it to my brother, though. He's not getting any younger and could have consider settling down with someone special to him in few years time... who knows, lol! And oh, I can highly recommend it to my boyfriend too..why not? We never know what's in store for us in the future... (LOL!) You too can make an appointment right off the web and start wearing a suit that never wears you!

This picture of me, my sister Thea along with her daughters is all I can find from my file and my 6 year old niece, Bernadette captured this pose for us just not so long ago.

It really don't matter to me as to what other people has to say about us but hmm... I would still love to hear your personal judgement... LOL! By the way my sister is only 26 and I am 4 years older than her.
