Well, back to the image... he's actually fond of doing stuffs like this using different pictures of me especially when I can't be around for him. And yes, this is the latest product of his so perceptive and clever imagination...lol!

Before I accepted my new job, I know I have to make a compromise with my time which is nothing easy for me at all. I promised myself not to take my blogs for granted but unfortunately, somehow it still did happen. Not on purpose, tho. I work on a night shift and as much as I would like to spend even a little time here after work, I cannot usually cause I just can't dictate my mind and body when and when not to work any farther.
I forgot, I am no super hero. I cannot do anything for everybody just like what I am trying to do right now. I forgot I should be observing some limitations too and only do things as necessary and cannot always make everything happen as much as I would like them to happen my way. And no matter how I am trying to make other people's life easier... I forgot I still don't hold the key on how the way they wanted to live it. Frustrations, disappointments, bitterness and resentments are all I got in return. Boy, how good am I on making someone else's life easy but when it comes to me, I'm no less than stupid. I think I should have my eyes open to the fact that I am no better than what I can be.
While having a short break from work, I was thinking of dropping a few lines here using one of the computers here in our cafe. This weekend is gonna be a busy one for me. We do have accommodations for two groups of guests until tomorrow so instead of working on a night shift, I was asked to temporarily report during the day as well... Whew! I hope this won't take the best out of me. As I have mentioned here, the nature of the present job I have now is very new to me and every now and then I am learning new things..

Of all the kinds of job responsibilities I have been through in my entire working experience, I should say doing a customer service is the most challenging one... or I should say a tough one! You will never know what to expect from every customers you came across with... for us especially that we are in a kind job where we are pretty much dealing with foreign customers everyday. All kinds of trait and attitude you can imagine are there. Name it! Rude, blunt, rough, and oh I would like to emphasize some European racist who are so loud and arrogant as if they are on a place of their own.
In contrast to the very famous business fallacy, I really would like to assert that, the customer is NOT always right. Nobody is always right... so, why in the name of everything that is supposedly holy in the field of business should anyone deem that the customer is always right? Just because they think they are filthy rich (??) doesn't give them even a smallest bit of right to scorn people any chance they get. I wonder how a stranger to one's place can be so ill-mannered. If I am to visit a foreign country myself, I would prefer to have the good time and not to end up in a foreign jail house!
This year's holiday, Sears along with the various non-profit organizations has established a charity program called Sears Heroes at Home Registry. This program is especially designed to provide support to over 30,000 military service members, veterans, and their families to help them make their Christmas wishes come true.
It often is difficult for our heart to remain at peace when some members of the family is far away from home. When we know our loved ones are in constant danger. So even if they are not physically with us on Christmas, let us try to include them in our prayers and in our plans so that they will feel as close as possible to us this holiday season. And since Christmas is all about love and family, I am encouraging you to donate at Home Registry. Let us give thanks to them and for their service and ultimate sacrifices by sharing what we have and what we can do to make then feel important part of the celebration. All donations made are not tax-deductible so rest assured that the accumulated amount and items will be equally given to each registered families.

Of all vices anyone can have, SMOKING is something I really hate the most. Pardon me dear smokers but I have never seen anything about smoking that is so beneficial to life at all. At times, I can say how lucky I am for most man I have closely known in my life don't really smoke. I am just as glad we do have a smoke-free environment back at home although some of my relatives does but only on occasional basis.
Most of us are aware the primary components of cigarettes are and how threatening it can be to our health. But I'm telling you... you probably won't believe the next thing I am about to reveal about smoking. This will definitely address your inquisitive mind why you shouldn't smoke. Tobacco is a $200 billion industry, producing six trillion cigarettes a year - about 1,000 cigarettes for each person on earth. And this is what you'll find in cigarettes: - Formaldehyde, which embalmer use to preserve dead bodies;
- Toluene, which is commonly used as an ingredient in paint thinner;
- Acetone, an active ingredient in nail polish remover;
- Ammonia, which scientists have discovered lets you absorb more nicotine, keeping you hooked on smoking.
