Add Joy to the Holidays with Holiday Greetings

Greetings are the best means to express your feelings. Where greeting cards express your feeling with the help of images and quotations and custom text, these also are an excellent means to be present with someone even if you are away from him or her. It is also the best means to convey your emotions and make aware the other persons how you feel about him or her. Holiday greetings are also in vogue these days following Christmas holidays.

Greetings have though evolved over a period of time and now people have started preferring online greetings rather than paper greeting. Where paper greetings were popular in the past years, there is a sudden shower of online greetings options these days. The greatest advantage about online greetings is that it can be customized at will of the presenter. A person can customize the greetings with respect to the overall theme, size, cover image as well as the text inside the greeting. Besides, the online greetings also gives you the advantage to send it on a designated date or time, so it is like you can customize a greeting and the online greetings provider will make sure that it is delivered to your friend or the loved one on the required date eve if your forget to send it.

Apart from this the online holiday greetings gives you the advantage that you can order a greeting by choosing from a range of greetings available online and the greeting will be delivered giving a surprise to the recipient. So order one today.

I'm a blogger and I still want to remain as such. And so it is my responsibility to keep my blogs updated for my readers to have something to look forward to. Like a vehicle's engine can't work without fuel, we as human being needs motivation too sometimes to keep our energy going. I must admit, there are occasions that I felt like I'm starting to lose my interest in blogging but someone's always there to remind me not to give up.

I used to blog all day and all night back in Cebu and as much as I wanted to do the same thing now that I'm back home, it just can't be... well, hopefully at least just for now while my sister is still coping up. Like what I've mentioned here, my brother-in-law just passed away and she (my sister) needs somebody to be with while starting all over and that is me most of the time. I understand how much pain she has to go through and along with that understanding is a little sacrifice on my part. Now that she's back to work, although I'm not obligated to look after her 2 little daughters, I just feel the need to make her feel confident that they will be fine and safe while she's gone to work everyday. I know it's hard for her to leave them but she has to. So I pretty much stay with them all morning and all night. I only get few hours in the afternoon of each day to do things for myself... that includes blogging. It's no easy for me to blog with a very limited time but I know this only for a while so I am still hanging on.

I have been meaning to give this page and my other blog here a whole new look for this year and that's is what I wanted to accomplish hopefully within next month after I get to have an additional RAM. Right now, my computer is I'm running with a very slow speed after I got my other RAM stick died the other day.

Still have a lot to do :-S

back for good

It's feels like I'm missing half my life for that half a month of being away from the virtual world and even though the thought of sorrow is still there for the loss my family just have had, I cannot deny the fact that I am as well happy now that I am back. Not only online but I am also finally back home for good.

I wanted to blog about so many things but I am just as baffled and still trying to grasps things all together. I don't know what to talk about first but I surely would love to share as much as I can what I went through for the last 3 weeks. Anyway, I just got my new DSL Internet connection hooked up yesterday. I should be getting the same internet service I used to have if it was only available. They say cable and DSL providers are known for not filtering their network from unauthorized users accessing private networks. Scary, huh! For the mean time, I get no choice than to be just extra careful. I know there are invented softwares to help deter if not eliminate malicious activities online. I can always get one when needed.

Anyway, back to blogging, for real, I was glad to see number of visits being payed here while I'm away. I can't thank you guys enough for keeping my traffic moving. There's still one thing I'm dying of having back, though......

my page rank! (sigh!)

:-w

Well, that's all for now... keep on coming for more updates.
Have a fantastic Sunday, everyone.

Indeed, the start of the year hasn't been so good for me and my family. After battling with the so excruciatingly painful illness for months, yesterday morning my brother-in-law, Jimmy has to cast out his final breath with the presence of his whole family inside the car, mobiling while on their way to the hospital yesterday.

I don't live near my family so I only know bits and pieces about his condition, though I know he'd been going in and out of the hospital since late of last year. It was only a couple weeks ago when his doctor finally disclosed about him having a liver cancer along with several complications. Not even once that I've seen him on his condition. The last time we've seen each other was August of last year and and I just heard from my sister that he was confined to the hospital just few days right after we left Davao for Cebu.

I was preparing and were about to take lunch along with my younger sister and my nieces when I got the text message my sister, Joyce (his wife) has sent me yesterday. I was totally stunned! While reading the message, my mind was trying to grasp something I am not certain about. I have to call my sister right away. I need to hear her voice. She was trembling while trying to gather altogether what she has to say. I can feel her pain while I was so helpless. All she asked is for us to come home.

After my father's death 5 years ago, this is just but another major struggle my family has to go through especially for my sister. Its gonna be a long healing process that awaits for her ahead, and I know it's not gonna be easy and for us to be there for her is I think the most important thing we could do for now. We (my sister, Thea and I) are considering of getting a possible way to get home tomorrow either via air or a sea trip...I may not be visible here for several days but when I get a chance, I'll try to stop by to check here once in a while.

A little time to say a little prayer for the soul of my brother-in-law, Jimmy will be greatly appreciated.

GOD BLESS US ALL!

For most people, alcohol is a pleasant accompaniment to social activities. However, we need to remember that alcohol is a drug and is addictive. If taken excessively, it is dangerous and a life threatening habit. According to study, Ethyl alcohol or Ethanol found in alcoholic beverages is a central nervous system depressant that affects regions in the brain that control behavior, so naturally people feel more outgoing and talkative.

Heavy drinking can increase the risk for certain cancers and it also affects every system in the body including the nervous, digestive, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and endocrine systems. But we can fight it before it gets to the edge with promises that surely won't fail.

Know more about it here.
