Add Joy to the Holidays with Holiday Greetings

Greetings are the best means to express your feelings. Where greeting cards express your feeling with the help of images and quotations and custom text, these also are an excellent means to be present with someone even if you are away from him or her. It is also the best means to convey your emotions and make aware the other persons how you feel about him or her. Holiday greetings are also in vogue these days following Christmas holidays.

Greetings have though evolved over a period of time and now people have started preferring online greetings rather than paper greeting. Where paper greetings were popular in the past years, there is a sudden shower of online greetings options these days. The greatest advantage about online greetings is that it can be customized at will of the presenter. A person can customize the greetings with respect to the overall theme, size, cover image as well as the text inside the greeting. Besides, the online greetings also gives you the advantage to send it on a designated date or time, so it is like you can customize a greeting and the online greetings provider will make sure that it is delivered to your friend or the loved one on the required date eve if your forget to send it.

Apart from this the online holiday greetings gives you the advantage that you can order a greeting by choosing from a range of greetings available online and the greeting will be delivered giving a surprise to the recipient. So order one today.

one step at a time

It started with just a thought. In less than 2 months it became a reality. Generally, the whole thing was too overwhelming from planning, the lay outing and most especially the cost. I have never felt this overwhelmed before but in the end, it was all worth it. I'll be moving in to my new place real soon.

I love imagining the entirety of it once I have each room painted and simply adorned. In fact I already have searched online information on fixtures and furniture designs as well as bathroom vanities. But I know of course that they don't come cheap so I'm settling myself to the affordable ones for now. In time I still will achieve that look I wanted to have for my place. Just need to do it one step at a time.

wrapping up July and carrying on...

July I can say was a blend of good and not so good month for me. Not so good because pressure got into me way too much. For some reasons I got too touchy, irritable that a casual conversation usually turned into an argument. Intentionally or unintentionally, the bottom line is, I still get to hurt feelings and that is what I felt so bad about. I knew somehow they understand. I can't thank these important people in my life for showing how they truly care.

On the lighter note, July was as well a happy month for me because somehow some of my life's simple yet so longed dream was finally realized. First thing of course, is the reunion of my family. I got to celebrate a town fiesta again with them after a long time. For those who would care to know this is an important event for us because it is the only time where we (my immediate and extended families) gather together. And I believe a lot of Filipino families also made it a tradition every year.

Also late last month another wish came true and even quicker that I've ever imagined. I never talked about it here but soon I'll be moving in to my new place. Some call it a house but I prefer to just call it a small place. It's a three-roomed composed of a bed, bath and a mini living room place. It is not furnished yet but it is at least now livable. Soon I'll be sharing some photos here. Meanwhile, I just wanted to make the most of my last few days stay here in my mom's house. Our living room is not an ideal place for me to do my online chores and that's where the idea of building my own place came from.

getting over with wrong choices

A long break is over! After almost half a month of breathing and contemplating, I finally made it back. It's not really that things went so bad but sometimes we think out of despair that quitting is a best solution for every frustration we have to go through in life although I have also been reminded over a number of times that not all roads of life are rough and bumpy. Straight and unbent paths are there too to somehow ease off some weight loads.

I make no promises as hundred of things is possible to happen everyday but sure needless to say that to always feel bitter over about everything never does us any good. Life is a choice and so are the different ways to live it. I knew this... I just refused to believe so sometimes. Not an intelligent choice I know... but by coming back here, I'm sure I am making one.

the importance of having a comprehensive free credit report

Labels:

Obtaining my self a credit card is one thing I don't dream of having. I know in the first place how tempting it is and what trouble it may bring once used inappropriately. Besides, I know that paying for what you shop using a credit card is costlier than paying in cash so why spend a fortune when there's a way to save?

On the contrary, there are also people like most Americans who value the life of their finances through credit. Again to become dependent on credit for me is a daring decision but we cannot ignore this increasing fact among them. That is why establishing a good credit history is very crucial. This is where credit reporting bureaus sets in. Requesting an annual credit report from these companies is a must to keep track of your entire credit transactions. They provide comprehensive free credit score that determine the statistics of your credit history. This ratings are important numbers that reflects either how financially strong you are or how you have terribly managed your finances in the past.

In the event that the need of emergency cash arises in the future, chances of getting quick loan approvals from lending companies will primarily depend on your credit rating but of course prior to that, you need to determine what it is and understand what it represents. Again, you can get a totally free credit report only from legitimate credit reporting bureaus. Check them out by following some links around this article.

Having a financial freedom and as much as possible a debt-free life is not just an American but everybody's dream and making it possible is a matter of choice.

what's with Paypal lately?

I didn't know that Paypal is now prescribing charges apart from their $5 withdrawal transaction fee. Last Monday, July 13 I received payment from an independent advertiser for the review I made for their website. I was a bit surprised because instead of $60 I only get $57.36. That prompted me to immediately check the transaction details and from there I found out that a certain fee amounted to $2.64 was being deducted from my earnings.

July 2, I received payment of $40 from the same advertiser. If you take a look at the screen shots below, the first payment was obviously intact while the recent is reduced. So I've been wondering what this is all about. I was thinking of contacting the sender to clarify the issue but I refrain to so do considering that the amount sent to Paypal was undeniably exact.

Transaction Date: July 13, 2009

Transaction Date: July 2, 2009

I have been using Paypal service since 2007 and have deal no issues like this as to my preceding transactions. I tried to review their notifications on policy updates (top right of my account page). The latest policy amendment that took effect June 3 of this year does not actually describe any additional receiving charges like what they could have been mistakably imposed to my account so I wonder where on earth is this coming from! If this was just one of those unavoidable online discrepancies, I might consider but if not I think as a bonafide user I practically have the right to demand clarification from their end.

I wonder if you encountered the same lately. You're free to unload any related issues here.

what's the catch?

They have been featured on the news, being highlighted on some occasions, acclaimed by many for their unparalleled eye care service and unbeatable $ 8 Rx eyeglasses. Now they're back and this time with a wider selection of back to school high quality and stylish prescription eyeglasses for kids.

I know one dad who I'm sure would love to check this one out for his son. And sooner or later when I get to have my eyes checked, I may consider of looking for a pair too for myself so together we can give a big high five to Zenni Optical.

For the mean time, let's watch Zenni Optical on TV!!! and see what's the catch people were wondering about...

anticipating

We, Filipinos are considered one of the most joyful and sociable people and it comes not as a surprise that we have a long list of festivals and celebrations all through out the year. Town fiesta in honor of patron saints is one of the most anticipated events of the Filipino calendar. For many years I've been missing celebrating this occasion with my family but not anymore this year.

Rain or shine the Fiesta celebration must go on come the next two weeks. Everybody here in town are now preparing for this big event. I see people decorating all over the town. Streamers were hanged on the streets. A place where most kids would love to be, the carnival where lots of fun rides has been set up and is now ready to give the kids a fantastic ride of their lives, LOL!

I grew up looking at how occasion like this strengthen the bond of our family. Aside from the food tasting marathon, the event wouldn't be complete without the drinking session for the boys and a separate circle for the girls, a table for the most played card game poker and of course the unlimited chit chatting with cousins and relatives. I can't wait to embrace again the feeling I have missed for being away for a long time.

memorable moments from yesterday's world's biggest event

I'm not a big fan of his. But shortly after the news confirmed his death, for whatever reasons I instantly caught myself drawn to his music especially the rarely heard ones. Through these songs (his ballad songs) I've learned that apart from his signature moves and styles there is still a lot more about the man himself.

Last night, from start to finish, my eyes were wide open and my entire attention stuck to every covered details, speeches and rendered songs at Michael Jackson's public memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It is so sad to think that he’s no longer there to sing his songs for people… rather the people are now the ones who sing his songs for him.

To those who wanted yet have missed watching it last night, here are some of the most memorable moments of yesterday’s world’s biggest event.

something's wrong!

I already have few comments received about my new layout's header not loading well. It only loads half of the entire header to be exact.

I was in denial when I first notice it the first time. Thought it was just a slow Internet connection that caused it but when I started hearing comments from few people, it was then I realize that hmm, maybe something's really wrong with it.

Yes, it acted up again this morning and even before I started writing this post. It saddens me to have even thought about it but with such blemish I don't think I can keep it to any extent at the expense of my viewer and readership. So in the event that you can't access this blog in the nearest future, it was then that I decided to redo it.
