Let it Rain

The tail of cold front according to the country’s weather authority is what keeps giving us daily rain showers. It’s hard not to say something about it when it makes moving around difficult unlike when the sun is out. But each time even before I could start whining I get reminded of how fortunate we are still for being spared from the recent disaster that killed many and left thousands of homeless people and just zip my mouth instead.
New Year’s Eve is in the next 24 hours so this morning off to the grocery store, we go. The idea is to avoid the rush and not to wait whenever the rain decides to stop.
“Just let it rain”; mom humbly said. Nature has its own course which we cannot help. We either want our things done sooner or hopelessly wait. Obviously, New Year’s Eve can’t wait, so yes… just let the rain fall, I guess.
